More YGG gigs at the Levenshulme Palace

Yet another year, another YGG and another stunning lineup for Manchester Irish Festival.

We have been contributing as ever to the festival with a contribution to the festival photo exhibition. Ged Camera and ourselves have come up with some great images of Levenshulme as a record of this cracking part of Manchester, a true melting pot!

The gig tonight was some melting pot too! Some cracking rock from Evo-devo, Indy from El Quinnel, Mason and Blue Chevron, Classic rock from Jeff Wooten and 1990's Madchester influenced sounds from Adept.

The weather wasn't kind, but the Palace, Levenshulme was packed.!

EVO-DEVO

Evo Devo were first up tonight. All the way from Northwich with a crowd of fans in tow.

Vocalist Jon Kerr gave his best to a packed Levenshulme Palace, new to the charms of this Cheshire band.

Fantastic technicque, Jimmy Page meets Eric Clapton and this guy is only sixteen! Lots of cover tracks and no vocalist which let Jeff and his band down, but don't let that disuade you from catching him live. Back 2 Site Map

YGG is part of the Manchester Irish Festival. This heats winners were El Quinnel and Adept. Well deserved winners, but best wishes for the other bands, some great music which no doubt we will be seeing more of across Manchester and local venues throughout the year.Have you got more info on these bands?
