YGG (Young Gifted and Green) is part of the Manchester Irish Festival which culminates in St Patricks day and is centred in Levenshulm, traditional home of Manchesters Irish Community.
The competition run in a battle of the bands style is for any band with an Irish connection or with any Irish band members. It is run every Feb-March.





 

The Palace in Levenshulme, originally a Cinema, is an 800 capacity venue in South East Manchester.

Its got cracking lighting and great sound. Contact Tony Hennigan down there and checkout if you can arrange a gig in one of their many 24RockFest and YGG (Young Gifted and Green) showcase gigs.
