This years MID featured music panels with Jah Wobble (PIL, 30hz Records), Kath Cannoville (Nation Records), Alexis Grower (Music Industry Lawyer), Seven Webster (Dido's manager), Phil Ellis (Manchester City College, Raw Fish records label) and Dave Pichilingi (Lecturer in music business management and manager at Tri-tone music).


One of the days lively music assessment panels.	Useful Info and Constructive Comment Sessions between 10am and 5.30pm featured one to one surgeries with panellists. Many demos were played to industry professionals with good overviews of better studio work and improved writing while in a band.


Good advice on the pitfalls of a recording deal contract.	Legal Issues Legal issues were explored after lunch.

The drummer soon recovered from the stage collapsing under him! The Kirkz have over 50 gigs under their belt and have covered several local and Manchester Venues. Checkout more Kirkz from Aug 2003.

The MID was assisted and supported by the National Foundation For Youth Music as well as Halton Borough Council and other Cheshire local authorities.
