Best Blondie tribute, Into the Bleach Blondie tribute band with stunning lead vocalist and brilliant backing band. Once More Into The Bleach is a Blondie tribute band. However, rather impressively and unusually for a tribute band, they have the official seal of approval from Debbie Harry herself. At the helm is Sam, with Mick on drums, Jim on bass, Andy on keyboards and Rick on Guitar. Here is an extract from their press release: The Black Country has a surprising number of tribute bands on the scene from Bon Jovi tribute New Jersey, Mentallica, The Next Pistols, and Snakebite (Whitesnake), to Stone Roses impersonators Fools Gold and Buddy Holly sound-a-likes Not Fade Away. Once More Into The Bleach are the official Deborah Harry and Blondie tribute band. They have performed their energy packed show all over the country and abroad. The part of Deborah Harry is performed by Sam H. who sports the trademark blonde hair and sexy pout. Her look and style has even fooled the most dedicated Blondie fan in thinking they are seeing the real Deborah Harry on stage. The band wears the classic Parallel Lines look of white shirt and black trousers with ratty ties and baseball boots, whilst Sam H. copies the costumes of Deborah Harry. This consists of four changes. The show appeals to a wide range of music lovers of all ages and must not be missed. Sam:- When I was at college I always used to have my hair bleached. And being a student and not having any money I'd let the roots grow through. And people would say "Oh, you look just like Debbie Harry". Peroxide Perfection . And I was always hanging around with musicians and going to see their bands and being their 'groupie' (but not THAT bad!!!) I was always going out with bass players. The Halesowen and Netherton based band, fronted by former Stourbridge girl Sam Hill, aged 28, recorded two tracks for the new Cult Themes 80s album produced by Russell Writer.Blondie fan Alien and Cat People
