Its been too long, finally they return. The Northwich punksters on top form as ever.

Kicking off with 'Exit World' and 'The Last Ride Home' the 'Rec crowd were showered in Punk Shrapnel. Fifteen minutes, Smile at me and so alone was pretty polished with only the intentional rough edges. Believe, Sand Dunes and Tennessee with the dedication to John 'sellout I'm a B List celebrity get me out of here' Lydon bob on!

A rare treat from over the border after a UK tour taking in Norwich, Brighton, London, Colchester, Plymouth, Exeter, Newcastle as well as Northwich. More used to gigging in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Dundee, Motherwell and Glasgow, the Rec crowd were difficult to crack. It might have been the accents..who knows? For anyone listening intently, these were 3 lads with a handle on their music. tricky to pigeonhole this one, but well worth dipping into the beer money for a CD to cherish in the lengthening evenings. My instinct says we might hear more from this trio.
