Forthcoming gigs at the Gladstone Club :-
Nov 7th

A packed and sweaty Gladstone club with no noise monitor and enough bar staff! 3 class acts (The Edge being helped out by Fall.Outs vocalist), FallOut doing their best to big up the moshing and The Lounge Kings leaping around as ever ...

The Edge

The return of some driving EMO from St Helens band The Edge. The set appeared shorter than it must have really been. Rounded off nicely by a guest appearance by the Fall Out vocalist for a rendition of 'Bodies' (see inset above).

Fall Out

After a few more gigs and lots of rehearsal, the new improved FallOut with added keyboards. A very polished gig, these lads have really come on! The gig kicked off with Still Born and Burns, by now well recognised by the baying crowd. Once the moshing and fighting had really started, 'Death from Above', Took it away, Turmoil and Evolution really made the crowd sweat. By this time, all T-Shirts were off ready for '3rd Degree burns' and Headstone. A new track and the now familiar 'Ultraviolet' (would be better named UltraViolence as by then the crowd were looking for blood!) finished the brilliant set.

More Fall.Out from Jan 2003 gig.

More Fall.Out from Apr 2004 gig.

The Lounge Kings

A lot of the exhausted crowd were absent after the Fall Out set, but that did not deter the intrepid lads from Deepest Derbyshire! With classic touches drawn from Johnny Marr, Paul Weller and other influences the set was trademark Lounge Kings. Opening with Albino and Making my way home, by this point the lead singer had already leapt all over the postage stamp stage and been on the deck about 3 or 4 times. The set powered on with the exellent Animal Garden, River Marmalade Blues, Ever Peaceful + dancing In On Me. Ending with Get Along, the polish was still there, the bar was shuttered + we await their return.

Lounge Kings are Jim, Jim the drummer, Jon & JamieMore lounge Kings.
