Doctors and Nurses theme night (how does Aidie get away with it??). More nurses than doctors I noticed. Did anyone hear about the Gynaecologist who decorated his hall, stairs and landing through his letterbox? No nor did I!
Anyway, everyone who made an effort deserves a mention. Three cracking bands, TFC up first better than ever, Bad Hair Day (now with a superman costume gimmick - Bo Selecta! - who was on last Kez? It were...) The Lounge Kings. One band who for me can do no wrong! All in all, a cracking Friday at the Rec!

Think Fast Charlie

Another Brilliant Gig with classic tracks: Long Dead shadows, Red Sky At Dawn, Many Stories, The Hero and Anatomy of a killer. TFC are doing some recording at Frog studios Warrington late September to work on the 'Gone but not Forgotten' EP. Look out for it and part with a few quid to support this stunning young band.

A band larger than their gimmicks (that they don't need) and should include their lady sax more often.

Opening up with the excellent River Marmalade Blues, The Kings powered on with Animal Garden, Dancin in on me, Big Groove, Second, Ever Peaceful, Get Along, Albino.
