Redbank

Redbank played their first gig in March 2000, at The Slaughterhouse in Liverpool, with Dina, Grampus Eight and Inside Right, who all became good friends of the band.
Further gigs in Liverpool followed and the band stepped out of Merseyside for the first time in May 2000 to play an all day festival in Wigan, with bands such as Dead Inside, Vorhees, Torino 74, Sergio Vega and Sweep the Leg Johnny. They were also originally booked to appear with Promise Ring and Burning Airlines in Manchester, but that unfortunately fell through due to the Promise Ring's singer falling ill.

More gigs followed in 2000, including their first appearance at the Munkyfest, where they sneaked onto the bill at the last moment and were known as "Anna's Friends" (a song would later be named after it to mark the occasion). The final gig of 2001 was at the Monro in Liverpool with Standstill and Babies 3, which gave the band their highest total of gigs in a year - a record breaking 16! 2002 has included an Italian Tour with The Atlantics

Seriously sound band with a sense of humour!. A cracking cover of Blondies Hangin on the telephone and AC/DC's Sin City flung in for good measure.
