Charity Calendar -

For the last couple of years (2001 / 2002) Lynn Hanley has been involved with creating Christmas cards and calendars for deserving causes with her unique views of the city of Edinburgh..

This year, a calendar for 2003 has been created in collaboration with the St Columba's Hospice and the welcome sponsorship from the following supporters;

Aitkin & Niven, Edinburgh Organ Studio, Allan Mcdougall solicitors, Edinburgh Oil & Gas plc, Musselburgh Rotary Club, TBM energy services, RBOS, Festival city cars, Balfour Beatty, Scottish Life, DL Communications and J. Smart contractors.

All proceeds go to the St Columba's Hospice, which is a Specialist 30 bed Palliative Care Unit, opened in 1977. It is situated overlooking the Firth of Forth It is an independent Unit, recognised as a Charity (Regd. No. SC003634), and accepts patients from the Lothians and further afield.

St Columba's is committed to the care of patients with active, progressive, far-advanced illness and to the support of their relatives. Patients are generally referred by their family doctor or hospital consultant.

Patients are admitted for the control of distressing symptoms, for respite care, and for rehabilitation.

Some of Lynns work can be purchased via the Hospice.
