Lynn's cityscapes of Edinburgh show the influence of her textile background, her love of colour, texture and the architecture of the city combine to create a unique style. The layering effect of the Old Town and the vibrant life of Edinburgh during the Festival being the main inspiration for her work. Her paintings often depict quirky details and are full of characters making the paintings into little stories. Lynn undertakes commissioned work for house portraits, specific Edinburgh scenes and also produces prints and cards from her original paintings.
